"One of the only fancy restaurants you'll find up in these parts, and it lived up to the hype. Right when you walk in you feel calm and quiet, great ambiance. The staff is over the top friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and delicious. The chili garlic crab was to die for!"

One thing I appreciated was that there was no wait time, likely because the owner was present and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was another highlight—the place is very aesthetic and thoughtfully designed, making it a nice spot for casual meals or even small celebrations. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. However, one downside was the 8% service charge automatically added to the bill. While I understand it supports the staff, I would have preferred to decide on the tip myself based on the service received. Still, I'd recommend Sugba Maya for anyone looking for good food in a charming setting. Best food for me: Calamari & Bam-e"

"I had scallops as an appetizer and the grilled tuna - I thought they confused what I ordered as it looked like a huge T-bone steak - had never eaten the cheekbone meat - it was beyond words simply outstanding! Best experience of my trip!!"

"Great place to eat and we had some nice vegetarian options for us. They were happy to change ingredients to make vegetarian. We had dinner here and breakfast the next day and everything was great. Very close to the Maya Port and probably the ONLY nice place to eat and within walking distance of the port. Very clean, modern, nice music which created a great atmosphere.."

"They were so welcoming and we spent 9 hours there (couldn't go to Malapascua due to the Taifun). Food was fine, Games were fun, rain didnt vorher us, times flew by Alle the best for you :-)"
